NVIDIA Filters

The NVIDIA Freestyle filters are blocked since 2021 and cant be used without downgrading. Standard app is GeForceExperience.

Digital Vibrance

The only correction I make to the colors above my monitor color settings is using the NVIDIA control panel digital vibrance to make colors pop more. (NVIDIA CONTROL PANEL > ADJUST DESKTOP COLOR SETTINGS > DIGITAL VIBRANCE)

Bypassing NVIDIA Game-Filter

this bypassing is not always working and you are advise against doing it!

  1. prestep1: GeForce Experience is already installed: https://www.nvidia.com/en-au/geforce/geforce-experience/download/
  2. prestep2: config.xml is NOT read only (path: %localAppData\%/NVIDIA/NvBackend means: C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\config.xml)
  3. download outdated driver e.g. with version 461.72. Release date should be older then march 2021.
  4. download outdated GeForce Experience
  5. uninstall current GeForce Experience
  6. uninstall current driver (Windows > Settings > Apps)
  7. restart your computer
  8. install GeForce Game Ready Driver you've downloaded
  9. install outdated GeForce Experience and make testrun and disable all updates at settings
  10. exit GeForce Experience
  11. stop all 3 Nvidia Services.msc and set startup to manually (NVIDIA Display Container LS, NVIDIA FrameView SDK service, NVIDIA LocalSystem Container)
  12. open Task-Manager and close all NVIDIA process. Receck that no one is restarting again
  13. go to NvBackend (path: %localAppData\%/NVIDIA/NvBackend means: C:\Users\admin\AppData\Local\NVIDIA\NvBackend\config.xml)
  14. delete all «journalBS*» Files
  15. open «config.xml» and change string 'EnableAutomaticApplicationScan' from '1' to '0' and save. (use Notepad++ or else)
  16. make «config.xml» read-only (under settings)
  17. optional additional filters: File:Curated ReShade Filters.zip All files need to be saved under "C:\Program Files\NVIDIA Corporation\Ansel", if there is no "Ansel" folder, then just create one.
  18. go to services.msc and change start type from "NVIDIA Display Container LS" to automatic. Both other ones let it by manually.
  19. right click "NVIDIA Display Container LS" and start running it
  20. done. GeForce Experience should now run with Squad- if not let it or try again..

(there is as minimum one different working solution)

AMD Filters

Fully available, but limited with variety. AMD is never blocking, even if request is coming from game developer.
