Q/E spam should be your last ditch effort to roll the dice to balance the odds when you get jumped in the open and think you are at a disadvantage due to your position or other reasons. It will drastically reduce your potential at hitting the shots and doesn’t make you that much harder to hit.

Full-Auto vs Semi-Auto

I know many good shooters who run on semi-auto 99% of the time. I used to be like them too, then started using the Full-auto and realised that the recoil on the weapons are easy to handle once you get the hang of it, making it rather easy to spray even up to 100meters. In my opinion, there is no real reason in having your weapon set on Semi, when you can tapfire your weapon just as accurately and even faster on Full-Auto. This also makes it so if you get jumped by an enemy in closer distances, you can spray him down without having to waste time setting your gun to Full-Auto or losing the fight due to slower fire rate. There is an audio feature/bug in the game where if your gun is set on Full-Auto and you fire only once, others will hear a small burst of around 5rounds coming out of your weapon making it the only real downside of running guns only on Full-Auto. Because of this feature, i sometimes switch to Semi-Auto if i’m holding a position from afar, making it more difficult to locate my exact location. Against a competent opponent, In short distances, it doesn’t matter if your weapon will make a sound of single shots or Full-Auto since they will locate you anyways. M4 Burst-Fire is a bit different. Now that they nerfed the Semi-Auto speed of the m4 due to me shooting it too fast, it is easy to reach the fire limit on it. I never change my m4 to Semi-Auto after the change. You can shoot the m4 on Burst just as you would on single, by clicking your mouse over and over again, but way faster than you could on Semi-Auto. The burst fire also has an audio feature/bug where if you keep shooting it fast, it will become “suppressed” and everyone around you will only hear the initial burst and no other gunshots after that, only supersonic cracks. Why m4 should be kept on burst

Different guns and calibers

Due to how calibers, bullet damage and recoil works in squad, the smaller caliber rifles are generally way better. For example the 5,56 (m4/l85), 5,45 (ak74) are generally way better options than the 7,62 variants like akm, sks, marksman rifles. MG’s are of course a different story since bipods almost completely negate recoil. M4 is generally the best one for ranges, due to the strong optic. The burst-fire shooting speed makes it really lethal and possibly the strongest rifle in the game. Ak74 is my absolute favourite, especially the ak-74m variant. Strong for everything, easy to control on Full-Auto. L85 is good for short-distances, very easy to control on Full-Auto. Goes through the whole magazine fast. Sucks at distances due to the optic variant it gets, making it difficult to see where exactly your bullets are landing. How manageable the ak74 full-auto is
