== During the game ==
In order to keep track of which kills are giving up, make it a habit to check the scoreboard everytime you die. Once you give up, your teamwork score will update and this will give you a bit of information. The only important things to know here are that you get +10 score for a down that gave up and -1 score for when you give up. Keep in mind your score can sometimes be affected by things such as reviving, healing, logistics, killing vehicles etc., but it is extremely viable to track the tendency of your score. Let’s say you are a simple rifleman and you downed about seven people in that first life. Fast forward a couple of minutes where you give up and your score changes from 0 to -1. You can be certain that those people you downed did not give up and probably got revived… or else you would have about a 69 score. This information can help you track that squad.

Below is an example from a scrim (scoreboard before first death vs after first death). You can see that after I gave up my score went from 0 to 42 meaning I killed approximately four people (they gave up).

== After the game ==
Compare your KD Ratio and revives to the rest of your squad, rest of the team, and opponent to get a good idea of how you did score-wise. Reflect on if you contributed to any vehicle kills, FOB takes, flag takes. Did you kill a combat engineer with a 360 noscope right before he C4ed your radio? That is worth a lot more than a pretty KD ratio. You can usually figure out what squad you were fighting in your lane when the squad KDs are approximately inverted from each other. Did you play the flag much relative to other players if you were assigned to play the flag? Flag score equates to 10 points per 5 seconds and you can get a good picture of who was playing on the flag by looking at flag score at the end of the game. You generate flag score by capturing or defending an active flag.

Above all this, the best way to have an indication of your performance is to review your own VODs. Record your gameplay and go over every kill, death, and other key moments. What could you have done better? At the end, note solutions to all your problems.
